*fragment of catharsis
Year-end in uncertainty and insecurity. As a gift, the sharpening of the senses in the face of the simple, the ritual, the embrace, the contemplation. The strength of the mourning in forgiveness and honoring those who were and who we were, timelines open with each tear in front of the spiral of time that consumes us and multiplies us. Gratitude for a present Aleph that encompasses everything, the crying and sighing that could not be placed at one end or the other, simultaneously containing the beautiful and the atrocious. Duality in its fullest expression, that pulls, pulls until it breaks. There, to open, to expand, to dissolve. There is no beginning nor conclusion, a heartbreaking and sweet unraveling in which each breath is a miracle. The simulation intensifies, the mirrors plunge us into revealing depths, the stagnant becomes current and we sway between vertigo and poetry. In a postcard, I wrote: bitterness and pain defy me to find poetry and beauty within. May we all find the peace that awaits us. Detachment, the lovingness that does not deny the imperfect, inhabiting materiality from its contradictions without sacrificing solidarity and tenderness. To be sensible to existing pain, to build the faith that was taken from us. To navigate existence resisting the feeling of reality as external, for it contains us and we reciprocally affect and reproduce it. If nothing is eternal, the here and now—in which we constantly cease to be and become—is a rescue from the mental whirlwind and its inventions that distract us from the magic around us, from the lightness of the acceptance of a cosmos inexplicable by the Western reason that oppresses us by denying our belonging to a living world and conscious universe. Paths open to new rationalities and sensitivities, not without the destruction already underway. Do you see it? It is felt, it is denied, it breaks us, deforms us. We will keep finding each other until we reunite in the whole of geometric harmony that is the potential void, in our guts we feel the inevitability of death, sacred teacher who makes us humble, ephemeral, absurd. Let us soothe our nervous systems, sustain dance and laughter as revolution, defend love as the ultimate flag.
